Find online credit classes under these subject headings: Accounting Administration of Justice Administrative Support Technology Arts Biology Business Management & Administration Computer Aided Drafting & Design Dance Economics Emergency Medical Services English Geography Health Health Information Management History Humanities Information Technology Design & Database Information Technology Essentials Marketing Mathematics Natural Science Nursing Philosophy Political Science Psychology Russian Sociology Spanish Student Development Surgical Technology Travel & Tourism Minimum technical requirements for taking these classes are: a) Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7; MacOS X 10.5+; b) PC with Pentium 3 Processor or higher, or Macintosh G4 or higher; c) 512 MB RAM (memory) or greater; d) Monitor with screen resolution of 800 x 600 (1024 x 768 or better recommended); e) 1 GB free hard drive space minimum; f) Active Internet connection. Dial-up is NOT recommended.; g) Updated virus scanning software; h) Web browser with JavaScript and cookies enabled – Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 or 8 (version 8 recommended), Firefox 3.5x+ (3.6x recommended), or Safari 3.2 or 4 (4 recommended). Google Chrome and Opera browsers are incompatible with Blackboard.; i) Microsoft Word or another word processing application capable of saving files in Rich Text Format (Google docs can be accessed online by VCCS students).
