Payment Information Deadline for Paying Tuition Tuition for fall credit classes is due by 4 p.m. Monday, Jan.7, 2012. Beginning Jan. 8, payment is due when you register. Students receiving financial aid: If financial aid and scholarships do not cover all charges, you must pay the balance by the deadline noted above or your classes will be dropped. Students taking employer- paid classes: Provide a letter of authorization from your employer to the PVCC Cashier's Office by the deadline noted above. Students who do not pay on time will be dropped from class rosters. Payment Methods Tuition payments may be made by cash, check, debit, VISA, MasterCard or American Express. For security reasons, credit card payments by telephone are not accepted. They must be made online through MyPVCC or in person at the Cashier's Office located in PVCC's Main Building near the North Mall Meeting Room. To pay through MyPVCC, see step 8 "Pay for Your Classes" on page 11 of this class schedule. Monthly Payment Plan PVCC offers an interest- free monthly payment plan with tuition payments due December through February for spring semester. This is not a loan program. The plan is administered by Nelnet, and there is an enrollment fee. Payments are deducted automatically from your bank account or charged to a credit card/debit card. See www.pvcc.edu/ paymentplan to enroll online or call Nelnet at 1.800.609.8056. The payment plan is available only for the spring and fall semesters. Return Check Policy PVCC assesses a $35 service charge for handling returned checks or rejected credit/ debit charges. Once you are notified, if PVCC does not receive payment by the due date indicated in the letter from PVCC's Business Office, classes will be dropped. Refund Policy Students may withdraw from classes via MyPVCC. Students will be granted a refund for those credits dropped by the published refund dates. (See Academic Calendar on page 7.) Refunds will be processed after the last day to drop or change a course for the semester. There will be no refunds after the published dates in the Academic Calendar.
