Coming Soon! Classes in Downtown C'ville For PVCC's spring 2013 semester, the College will offer selected classes in downtown Charlottesville in our PVCC Jefferson School Center, located at 233 Fourth Street NW in the renovated Jefferson School. In the fall 2013 semester, we plan to offer a new associate degree program in culinary arts at this site. Renovation of the historic Jefferson School into the multi-use Jefferson School City Center is expected to be completed later this year. An open house for the community is planned in January 2013. Other resident partners who will offer services in this facility home are the African-American Heritage Center, the Carver Recreation Center, JABA (Jefferson Area Board for Aging), Common Ground Healing Arts, Literacy Tips on Switching Careers Where do you start if you're considering a career change? A good place to begin is with some fundamental questions about you. What do you enjoy in life? What are your interests, and what do you feel passionate about doing? What are your core values? Writing down the answers to these questions will get you started on discovering which career areas are the most compatible possibilities to consider.
