(Note: Some classes have prerequisites that may require placement test scores.) Step 1: Submit An Online Application To PVCC. Go to www.pvcc.edu and click on "Apply Now" to complete the Virginia Community College System's online application. After completing your application, you will receive a student ID number and username on your confirmation page. Print this page or write down this information for your records. Step 2: Apply For Financial Aid. (See financial aid workshop on page 3.) PVCC Financial Aid • Main Building, Rm. M136 • 434.961.6545 • School Code: 009928 We encourage all degree- and certificate-seeking students to apply for financial aid. Financial aid may come in the form of grants, scholarships, loans and work-study positions. The first step is to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. To obtain your maximum eligibility, it is best to complete the FAFSA prior to March 31 of the year you plan to attend PVCC, but you may apply after this date. • Visit the PVCC Financial Aid Web site for more information at www.pvcc.edu/financialaid. • Research available scholarships at www.pvcc.edu/scholarships.
